Stylecraft Carnival Tweed Chunky Patterns
Pattern No 9713
These jumpers take raglan sleeves to the next level, coming right across the body to meet at a point. The body is knitted in stocking stitch and the sleeves have a delicate Cable on them. You can choose to make with a round or roll neck.
Pattern No 9714
We love this cardigan and sweater. Loosely based on a gansey design, with a garter stitch hem and a textured pattern above the armholes; the cardigan has a round neck. The jumper has an interesting split collar. If you sew it up, it will be a roll neck.
Pattern No 9715
If you fancy a little fair isle knitting but not too much then this could be the design for you. The front of the jumper and cardigan are worked in a pretty fair isle motif whilst the back and sleeves are made in stocking stitch. The fair isle panel is worked from a chart.
Pattern No 9716
There's a lot to choose from on this pattern. The roll neck tunic has and asymmetric hem and side slits, the jacket has a roll back collar and a level hem but still has little side slits. Both feature a pretty Lace panel up the sides on the front and back and around the cuffs. This means that the sleeves are picked up and knitted from the side of the cuffs.
Pattern No 9717
This cardigan and sweater are worked in reverse stocking stitch with a repeating Cable panel across the body and single rib cuffs and welts. The sweater is longer at the back with a side slit.
Pattern No 9718
This sweater and jacket show off the multi tonal stripe effect of Carnival Tweed very nicely. The fronts of the jumper and jacket feature an interlocking Cable pattern out of reverse stocking stitch.
Pattern No 9719
What style of hat do you prefer? Bobble, beret, beanie or helmet. Whichever one you choose, you will only need one ball to make a hat.
100% Hand selected top quality fabrics Many stores buy their fabric (especially if deadstock/ex-designer) without ever having touched it. Even during the pandemic we've made sure to only buy fabric we have personally handled.
The bulk of our fabrics are made from natural breathable fibres such as cotton, linen and viscose.

Liz, I was so excited to open my parcel with the fabrics and other bits and pieces and WOW, these are the best quality fabrics I've ever purchased!!! 🥰
The cottons are so soft, so smooth, you can really tell you choose them with care.
Even the viscose sample is so lovely, great drape yet more of a substance than I've had from other suppliers. I tried crumpling it in my hand and it didn't crease...Please save me some of it because I'll have that with my next order.

Vintage Loving Store Owner
My love of sewing and fabrics started early on in my life. My Mum sewed for us and made all kind of things on her green Bernina machine.
I started to sew at the age of 11 and I instantly loved it. I made myself so many things in my teens and worked with so many different fabrics. I continued to sew for myself and then my children as each came along.
Fast forward to 2011 when I purchased The Buttonhole to create a one-stop shop for everything a sewist would want.
Since then I've rediscovered my love of vintage-inspired dressmaking and am building my own retro style wardrobe.
This is what inspired me to create "Sew Vintage Fabulous", a monthly sewing box to help you build your own wardrobe of quality vintage-inspired clothes that fit.
So here we are, I adore getting new fabrics and the ideas of what people might make from them.
Come join the "More Me" Vintage Sewing Facebook Community for advice, to share your makes and meet other sewists.
Remember, if you need any advice, want to check on some fabrics or can't quite find what you are looking for (not all stock is yet on this store) you can book a Personal Shopping video call and I'll help you find what you want.
